Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership: set goals, build roadmaps, and align execution with company priorities.
- Team management: mentor engineers and strengthen delivery quality, consistency, and collaboration.
- Project oversight: ensure technical correctness, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction.
- Technical guidance: review advanced FEA/CFD methods and help resolve high-complexity problems.
- Resource planning: balance workloads, staffing, tools, and process improvements.

Requirements
- Education: B.S. in Mechanical/Aerospace (M.S./Ph.D. preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years engineering; 5+ years leadership; consulting experience is a plus.
- FEA/CFD proficiency: ANSYS/Abaqus/Nastran and/or thermal/CFD toolchains; strong fundamentals.
- Workflow fluency: CAD familiarity and scripting (Python/MATLAB) for automation and repeatability.
- Communication: ability to present technical conclusions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities
- Build and solve structural/thermal FEA models for components and assemblies.
- Develop simulation methodologies for nonlinear contact, dynamics, and coupled physics as needed.
- Interpret results to identify risk, sensitivity, and design improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (design, manufacturing, product) to close the loop on decisions.
- Run sensitivity and optimization studies to meet performance and reliability goals.
- Validate with test/hand-calcs where applicable; document assumptions and limitations.
- Generate client-ready reports that communicate the “why” behind recommendations.
- Improve repeatability via templates, automation, and best practices.
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical/Aerospace or related (M.S./Ph.D. preferred).
- 5+ years hands-on FEA experience in a product or consulting environment.
- Proficiency with ANSYS/Abaqus/Nastran (or equivalent) and strong fundamentals.
- Comfort with CAD cleanup/meshing workflows.
- Python/MATLAB scripting for automation and data processing is a strong plus.
- Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain results simply and accurately.
